SUMMUM and SUMMUM PRO chimneys have been tested and certified to the ULC S-629 standard by OMNI Laboratories, the strictest standard in North America.

One of the many tests required to achieve the ULC S-629 standard requires that the stack withstands testing of three thirty-minute thermal shocks at a temperature of 1150 ° C (2100 ° F).

SUMMUM and SUMMUM PRO chimneys are specifically designed for use with stoves, fireplaces and residential furnaces, and are suitable for use with heaters operating ont he following fuels:

  • Wood
  • Fuel oil
  • Coal
  • Charcoal
  • Gas
  • Granule

SUMMUM and SUMMUM PRO chimneys require a 2″ clearance to combustible materials. The SUMMUM and SUMMUM PRO round and square supports allow the chimney to be installed with approximatively 2″ of clearance in the area protected by the support.
